Wooohah, drinking was not a good idea. I made a mess in my backpack on our way to the market in Pisac, about one hour away from Cuzco. But why do we always have to get up this early?
The market takes place every Sunday. Pisac is the start of the Sacred Valley with its various Inka ruins sites.
The market itself is by far more touristy than Otavalo in Ecuador. And the many rich travel groups from the U.S.A. and Europe really spoil your bargaining chances. It is much harder here to achieve good prices since so many people are willing to pay fortunes.
Hey and something really cool: Carsten bought a present for me so I really like him again. But I am not allowed to tell you what it is. Will tell you later.
Tomorrow we will leave for the Inka trail to Machu Picchu - at 4 a.m.! So no Guiness for me tonight.
Toodaloo and Inka greetings,
