It looks like snow but it is - salt! Salt, salt, salt as I far as I can see. Who needs this much salt?
I am on the world's biggest salt lake now - the Salar de Uyuni, 12.000 square kilometers big. So way bigger than my farm in England. But itīs also way colder than in my sty. You wouldn't expect it to be this freezing cold when you the pictures of the clear blue sky and the bright white salt. But we are still at 3,600 meters of altitude and we've got strong winds blowing around here.
I will be traveling for the next four days on a tour of the Salt Lake and the surrounding mountains, until very close to the Chilean border.
