They are right. The Argentinian side of Iguazu Falls is more beautiful and far more impressive than the Brazilian side which gives you a good overview though.
But it is truly amazing what you see on the Argentinian side. First we stood on top of the Falls at the Devilīs throat. Here the water plunges down in many different directions. Itīs like standing on the edge of the world and I wouldnīt want to paddle down there in my kayak.
Next we went on hikes on the upper and lower circuit trails which offer you many different views.
Hmm, I must have smelt a little after two months of travel because Carsten forced me into the boat which takes you very, very, very close to the Falls. I got soaking wet.
The last fall spotting spot was San Martin island which is surrounded by the waterfalls. If you ask me this is the best spot of all.
One advice for those coming over from Brazil for a day: Change some Argentinian Pesos in Brazil since the exchange rate you get in the National Park is really bad.
