What you've been doing

Georgetown is an old silver-mining town, dating from the 1860s. The first discovery of silver in Colorado was made in 1864 about eight miles above Georgetown. It's a quaint little town with a traditional "main street", now lined with antique shops, art galleries and a few restaurants and bars. The town is walled in on three sides by mountains, which gives a stunning backdrop to most views of the town.

We spoke with a local shopkeeper who told us about a Christmas market held in the town each year, with entertainment and and events. Hopefully this little piggy will go to the market next year...
