From Zürich we flew on to Nürnberg, Germany. This was my second visit there and I knew we would have a busy schedule!
The following day we went to Erlangen and the next thing I know is that Andrea's dad is practically dragging us into the Botanical Garden! It turned out to be well worth a visit - lots of frogs hopping around the lotus blossoms, for one thing, but there was a lot more to see. And this little piggy had to be quick on his hooves, thanks to some unpredictable sprinklers!
The sculpture in the picture (also in the Botanical Garden) is actually a bee hive! It's very hard to see but there's a couple of holes in the little girl's hand that serve as the bees' 'door' ...
