Livi and I spent most of our weekend in Scranton at Steamtown, a National Historic Site and living railroad museum and rail yard.
On Saturday (which was a chilly but beautiful day) we rode one of their steam trains (little pigs are free!) and later checked out the railroad museum and the roundhouse. On Sunday (which unfortunately was a bit grey, as you can see in the picture) we went to the trolley museum and rode in an old trolley car (also free for pigs).
Steamtown is a fun place but you definitely need some time if you want to see it all and go on one or more of their steam train excursions - the pigs' recommendation: plan to spend two days there (or more if you are a serious train spotter)!
