We have been travelling around Cuba. Vinales was very rural and beautiful. We explored the countryside on foot and chatted with local wild pigs then in the evenings we drank Mojitos, We sampled fine Cuban cigars in Soroa just north of Vinales while taking in the coffee plantation ruins at Las Terrazas. After the quiet of the country we headed for the bright lights of Havana then partied the nights away in Havana vieja with the locals who were celebrating a carnival in style along the Malecon. We are now in Mexico relaxing a little and recharging our batteries before forging on to see Mayan ruins in Campeche and soaking up a liitle sun on the local beaches. After Campeche we will be striking out to Chetmul to see more Mayan ruins that are a little less crowded than Chitchen Itza. Then hopefully on to Belize for some Jaguar spotting!!
