Today we went to Chelsea Market to see a taping of the “Emeril Live!” show. Emeril Lagasse is a famous American TV chef. Unfortunately for me, the cooking show was about PORK SAUSAGES. Eeek! It was hard for a little piggy to watch, but it was very cool to see the workings of a TV show. There are 80 people involved in creating just one episode. Emeril was a gracious host and during a commercial break invited all the children in the audience on stage to get a treat from his freezer. He didn’t invite pigs up (and I would have been too scared with all that pork sausage lying around!). Emeril tapes several shows in one day and because of the time crunch, we were not allowed to talk with him or take photos.
