After a hectic time in Belize partying by night and relaxing by day on Caye Caulker we headed to Guatemala. Our first stop was Flores and a day trip to Tikal which was fantastic. In the evening at Flores there was a fantastic lightening storm which fortunately brought the temperature down a little as it is baking hot here. We climbed a few temples and spent many hours admiring the stellae. Then on to Rio Dulce and Livingstone to take lazy tours of the river and wildlife spot from the comfort of the boat. Now in Antigua we are shopping and enjoying Semana Santa with all its processions and costumes. Tonight out to MonoLoco a local bar for fabulous cuisine a few beers and to make some new friends. On to Lake Atitlan later in the week and then a flight to Panama to sail the Canal.
