Well we've travelled north to Cairns, where its considerably hotter than Sydney. The heat and humidity is unbearable.
The scenery around Cairns is fantastic, fields upon fields of sugar cane and banana plants, against a back drop of rainforest covered mountains.
We went white water rafting yesterday (6th) on the Tully river, which was excellent (even though our raft capsized).
Tomorrow we're going out onto the Reef snorkelling, then travelling further north to Port Douglas, and eventually to Cape Tribulation.
