Today we drove up Mt. Evans and had a lovely day. We were so excited as we saw so much wildlife. We saw mountain goats, big horn sheep, and marmots. The goats and sheep were in herds with babies.
The day we were there a park ranger gave a talk about the sheep and goats and had skulls and skins to show us. The big horn sheep's horns continue to grow and the curled horn will actually block their peripheral vision - so they bang their horns on the rocks to break off the tips blocking their vision.
