Hi, my name is Livingstone. I'm new to this travelpig biz. First thing I've seen after my birth was the incredibly uncomfortable interior of an envelope. Those postal people stamped the letter right on my butt. Eeeeyk, that hurt.
I saw daylight again in Berlin, Germany when my new companion Carsten opened the envelope. Unfortunately he was ill and had to postpone his travels. So I ended up with a complimentary train ticket to discover the German capital on my own.
But hey, that town is porcalicious. I recommend taking public transport Bus 100. It costs only 2.10 Euro (hop on and of any time for 2 hours) and goes along a scenic route from Zoo station in the former West to Alexanderplatz in the former East. En route it passes the Reichstag where the federal government is (take the free ride to the top and look on the politicians' heads!). Then it drives through Brandenburg Gate, along famous Unter den Linden street down to Alexanderplatz with its tv tower (behind me on the photo).
Other must sees:
Museum isle with Pergamon museum
Berlin Zoo (too few pigs!)
