Oinkawanga, we are out of the height and into the thick air of the Ecuadorian coast.
Two friends invited us to join them for a weekend at the coast in the Esmeraldas province. It takes about 6 hours to get there by car. Luckily our friends have a 4x4 since the winding mountain road through the beautiful mountain scenery is sometimes a bit tricky. landslide here, pothole there and on we go.
We left at four in the morning and had breakfast in the coast town of Atacames. It is a beautiful place but has quite a lot of tourists. Atacames is also known as a party town. Its beach drive houses lots of bars, discos and restaurants.
But I am not a party piggy and so I appreciated our final destination much more. We reached it after another one hour drive. Unfortunately I am not allowed to tell you the name but the guys were kind enough to take a picture of me right by the water.
Will enjoy a Pina Colada now. Toodaloo, Livingstone.
